Refund Policy

Before your filing is submitted to the state

If you contact us before we've filed your Statement of Information with the California Secretary of State, we'll cancel the filing and refund our fee in full.

After your filing has been submitted

Once we've filed your Statement of Information, our service has been performed, and the fee is generally non-refundable — the work of preparing and submitting the filing is complete regardless of what happens to your corporation afterward.

If the state rejects your filing

If the California Secretary of State rejects a filing because of an error on our part, we'll correct it and refile at no additional cost. If a filing is rejected because of information you provided — an inaccurate entity number, for example — we'll help you correct and resubmit it; this doesn't entitle you to a refund of the original fee.

State filing fees

Any filing fee charged directly by the State of California is separate from our fee and is subject to the state's own refund rules, which we don't control.
