Where to look
Your original Articles of Incorporation, stamped or certified by the Secretary of State when your corporation was formed, will have it printed on the filing.
The Secretary of State's business search at bizfileonline.sos.ca.gov lets you look up any registered California entity by name and view its entity number, without needing an account.
Any prior Statement of Information you've filed, or a certificate of status you've ordered from the state, will also list it.
